These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VICE Website Awards platform (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By submitting a project or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Submission Guidelines
You may submit your website using our official submission form. We accept projects from freelancers, studios, agencies, and individual professionals.
By submitting, you confirm that you are using our services as a professional or business entity (i.e. not as a private consumer within the meaning of EU consumer protection laws). We reserve the right to reject submissions that do not meet this requirement.
By submitting, you also grant us the right to:
– Review your project for award consideration
– Display your project (screenshots, link, description) on our platform and channels
– Use your name or brand in promotional content related to your submission
3. Evaluation Process
All submitted projects are reviewed based on the following criteria:

SEO Performance
Our jury reserves the right to reject projects that do not meet our quality standards or contain inappropriate, illegal, or plagiarized content.
4. Award Categories
Your submission may qualify for:

Recognition Award (RCGN)

Site of the Day (SOTD)
-
Site of the Month (SOTM)
-
Site of the Year (SOTY)
Awarded projects will receive an official badge and may be featured in our gallery, blog, newsletter, or social media channels.
5. Fees and Payment
Submission fees are clearly stated on the submission page and are due at the time of submission.
All payments are final and non-refundable, regardless of the award outcome.
6. Rights and Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of your submitted content.
By submitting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and promote your work as described in these Terms.
We do not claim ownership or exclusive rights over your website or materials.
7. SEO Certifications (New Product)
We also offer official SEO Certifications as a separate product.
To begin the process, a €9.99 submission fee is required to conduct a full SEO audit of your website. This fee ensures every submission receives a fair and detailed evaluation.
If your website meets the required benchmarks, you may qualify to purchase one or more of the following certifications:

Off Page SEO Expert – €89.99

SEO Ranking Expert – €99.99

Certified websites receive an official badge and certificate. Fees for SEO certifications are final and non-refundable, regardless of the audit outcome.
8. Data Privacy
We collect basic data (e.g., name, email, website URL) to manage your submission.
Your data will not be sold or shared with third parties without your consent, except when required by law.
